About Us
In 1995, three veterinarians teamed together to build a dream—a veterinary practice that would be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to serve pets and their families for both routine care and emergency care needs. In June 1996, this dream became reality when the Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital and Emergency Animal Clinic opened its doors.
Over the next five years, two of the principals left to pursue other interests, leaving Dr. Laurie Leach to continue the vision. Dr. Leach was joined by a dedicated team of doctors who collectively formed the character and reputation of Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital as a decent and honest facility, working hard to make sure that pets received the very best care delivered in the most efficient, friendly way possible.
In January, 2006, the Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital and Emergency Animal Clinic achieved a personal landmark on its tenth anniversary—it earned American Animal Hospital Association certification, receiving a score of 98 percent on emergency facility and 100 percent on examination facility. The AAHA accreditation is a completely voluntary effort that means the hospital has met certain standards, defined by the profession itself, to be "what the practice of medicine really ought to be." It is a benchmark by which we can say to ourselves, and to you, that we are reaching for the stars in terms of the quality of care we are striving to deliver—every day, every hour and for every person.
