Dr. Laurie Leach
A general practitioner and emergency veterinarian as well as the owner of Beverly Oaks, Dr. Laurel Leach has practiced medicine throughout the country for more than two decades. In California, Dr. Leach previously practiced at the Animal Medical Center in Woodland Hills and at Rancho Park Vet Clinic and Washington Dog and Cat Hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Leach also practiced in Virginia and Kentucky.
Dr. Leach attended Michigan State University; after two years as an undergraduate, Dr. Leach was admitted to the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1984, and her professional interests include emergency and critical care medicine. Dr. Leach is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.
Dr. Leach lives in Sherman Oaks with her husband. With 11 cats living in her home (and two cats that stop by for dinner), Dr. Leach's homelife is never dull, though she still finds time for reading, birding, playing the piano, swimming and going to dinner and wine tastings with friends.
